The Technical Conference is intended for Civil Engineering Professionals

specializing in Structural Engineering, as well as for the Academe, Consultants,

and the Construction Sector who wish to learn more or broaden their understanding

of the two more commonly encountered lateral dynamic forces: Wind and Earthquake

ISSEP-issep 2019 seeks to provide an avenue where researchers, practitioners,

and movers and shakes of Structural Engineering here in the Philippines and

abroad get to discuss how the structural engineering practice continues to evolve,

innovate, and upgrade the current analysis and design tools to adequately

address the effects of Wind and Earthquakes.

Also, the technical conference includes two special topics which are very timely

(i.e. Low-cycle Fatigue Tests on Local QT/TMT Rebars; Restrictions on the Use

of QT/TMT Rebars Explained) in response to a number of requests from practitioners

to discuss them more in details.
